U.S. Savings Bonds payroll savings authorizations, 1980-[ongoing].

"The Division of Control and Accounts is responsible for maintaining all books, records and accounts of the State Treasury which relate to the finances of the State government" (AAC, 355-1-1). These authorizations, signed by individual employees, give the Division of Control and Accounts permission to deduct funds from an employee's pay check to purchase Series E and Series EE savings bonds for the employee. They remain valid until they are cancelled by the employee. Information on these cards includes the employee's name and address, employee's department, amount to be duducted, denomination of the bond, and name and address of the co-owner or beneficiary.
